Bodyweight Training

chin up 300x150 Bodyweight TrainingBodyweight training is the natural way to build up your strength. Using only your body weight as a tool to gain more muscles while burning fats. It can be done at home or anywhere and anytime. It’s very convenient and with minimal or no equipments needed.

Bodyweight training can be done by beginners or advance trainnee, men or women and of any age. Even with just very limited time, you can still get into shape by doing this program. It will take you 20 minutes or less everytime you exercise.

No more reasons for you to say ‘I have no time.’

Exercises

  • Push-ups (3sets – 10 to 15 reps)
  • Bench Dips (3sets – 10 to 15 reps)
  • Chin-ups / Pull-ups (2 to 3sets – 8 to 12 reps)
  • Military Squats (2 to 3sets – 10 to 15 reps)
  • Lunges (3sets – 10 reps on each side)

You can lessen or add more sets and reps on each of the exercises depending on your fitness level.

If I don’t have the luxury of time, here’s what I do:

  • Chin-ups or Pull-ups (8 to 10 reps) *If you don’t have a bar, skip this exercise.
  • Push-ups (10 reps)
  • Bench Dips (10 reps)
  • Jumping Jacks (10 jumps)
  • Military Squats (10 reps)
  • Lunges (10 reps on each side)
  • Crunches (15 reps)

Repeat 2 to 5 times (depending on your fitness level). You can rest after doing all the exercises for 1min. As your fitness level gets better, you can do this without rest in between.
